Pixie Tee by Chalk & Notch

Do you have favorite pattern designers? I certainly do. And Gabriela, the designer of the Californian indie label Chalk & Notch is clearly one of them. Even if I am unsure at the beginning whether a new pattern from her suits me; it always ends with the fact that I hardly want to take off the garment any more and wear it constantly. This is how it happened with my my Fringe Dress, my Pony Tank, my Waterfall Raglan Top and my Farrah Blouse! And it’s no different with Gabriela’s latest work: The Pixie Tee!

Hast du Lieblings-Schnittmusterdesigner? Zu meinen gehört ganz klar Gabriela, die Designerin des Indie Labels Chalk & Notch. Selbst wenn ich zu Beginn unsicher bin ob mir ein neuer Schnitt von ihr steht; es endet jedesmal damit, dass ich das Kleidungsstück kaum mehr ablegen möchte und im Dauerturnus trage. So geschehen mit meinem  Fringe Dress, meinem Pony Tank Top, meinem Waterfall Raglan Shirt and meiner Farrah Bluse! Und mit ihrem neusten Werk geht es mir kein bisschen anders: Dem Pixie Tee! 

The Pixie Tee is slightly oversized and comes in two versions. Version A has short sleeves and is gathered at the hem with an elastic band; as a nice detail bows are sewn to the elastic at the sides. Version B has long sleeves and cuffs at the hem and sleeve ends. Both versions can also be sewn as a dress. Das Pixie Tee ist leicht oversized geschnitten und kommt in zwei Varianten.  Version A hat kurze Ärmel und wird am Saum mit einem Gummiband gerafft; als hübsches Detail werden an den Seiten Schleifen an das Gummiband genäht.  Version B hat lange Ärmel und ein Bündchen als Saum- bzw. When I first saw version A, it was love at first sight. I was particularly fond of the bows at the hem. They give the Tee a romantic touch that is exactly mine. I’m really excited about my new shirt and I’ve worn it already several times.

Als ich Version A zum ersten Mal sah, bekam ich gleich leuchtende Augen: Die Schleifen am Saum hatten es mir angetan. Der romantische Touch dem sie dem Shirt verleihen ist genau meins. Ich bin echt begeistert vom Resultat meines Shirts und ich habe es bereits x-mal getragen.
