Frisco Tank Top by Threadbear Garments

Ich freue mich sehr euch heute mein Frisco Tank Top zu zeigen. Frisco ist der zweite Schnitt von Leslie von Threadbear Garments, einer lieben Blogger Kollegin von mir. Leslie hat einen unglaublich coolen Style, der nicht nur lässig, sondern auch feminin wirkt. Dies zeigt sich auch in ihren Schnitten.

I am very happy to show you my Frisco Tank Top today. Frisco is the second pattern of Leslie von Threadbear Garments, a dear blogger colleague of mine. Leslie has an incredibly cool style that’s casual yet feminine. This is also reflected in her patterns.  

Frisco kommt in zwei Varianten daher: Variante A ist ein Jumpsuit, der dank den Prinzessinnennähten beim Oberteil körpernah ausfällt und unterhalb der Taille dank der weit geschnittenen Beinen mit einem modernen Look aufwartet.  In der Taille wird der Jumpsuit mit einem elastischen Gürtel gerafft. Und Taschen – das ultimative non-plus-ultra – fehlen ebenfalls nicht.

The Frisco is a two-for-one pattern. View A is a modern, apron-style jumpsuit that features a princess seam bodice and a cropped, wide leg pant. The waist is cinched by an elasticized belt that is fastened with a set of D-rings that provides maximum comfort and style. The slash pockets offer added utility.

Ich habe mich hingegen für Variante B entschieden, wie ihr unschwer erkennen könnt. Einem Tank Top mit angesagtem eckigen Ausschnitt und einer hübschen Knopfleiste.

I’ve opted for View B, as you can easily see. A tank top with a trendy square neckline and a pretty button placket.

Dank den Prinzessinennähte fällt es körpernah und trotzdem bequem. Während das Oberteil des Jumpsuit gerade gezeichnet ist, fällt das Tank Top in A-Linien Form und endet auf Hüfthöhe. Damit ist es ein perfekter Partner für Jeans. Zu  Röcken würde ich den Schnitt etwas kürzen.

The princess seam lines provide a comfortable and stylish fit. The slight A-line shape hits right at the hip making this tank top a great match for your favorite pair of jeans. To skirts I would shorten the pattern in the length a little bit. 

Wie ihr seht, habe ich dem Schnitt meinen persönlichen Touch verpasst: Rüschen! Dabei habe ich zwei Bänder in 5 cm Breite und 1,5x in der Länge der Träger zugeschnitten. Diese Bänder habe ich mit Einhalte-Fäden gerafft und dann zwischen die Träger genäht.

As you can see, I have created my personal touch for the pattern: Ruffles! I cut two fabric strips in 5 cm width and 1.5x in the length of the straps. I gathered and sewed them between the straps. 

Was noch ein netter Pluspunkt ist: Das Top eignet sich hervorragend zum Reste verwerten. Ich habe hier das Reststück vernäht vom Stoff aus dem ich meine Sailor Latzhose genäht habe.

Another nice plus point is that the top is ideal for using leftovers. I sewed the leftover piece from the fabric I sewed my Sailor dungarees from. 

Ich hatte in den vergangenen 15 Jahren kaum Tank Tops getragen, da ich das Gefühl hatte so eine Art Kleidungsstück stehe mir nicht. Vielleicht hängt es mit dem Älter- und Gelassener werden zusammen, sicher aber mit der Tatsache, dass ich dieses Top hier sehr stilvoll und feminin finde. Kurz: Ich bin sicher, dass ich dieses Tank Top ganz viel tragen werden.

I had worn hardly any tank tops in the past 15 years, because I had the feeling that a kind of garment doesn’t suit me. Maybe it has something to do with growing older and becoming more relaxed, but certainly with the fact that I find this top very stylish and feminine. In short: I am sure that I will wear this tank top over and over again.
