New pattern release: Carvi Sweater

I am very happy to present you today the Carvi Sweater. With Carvi I created a pattern that is both comfortable, i.e. suitable for the home office, but also chic and stylish; for days when you want to present yourself to the outer world.

The pattern Carvi is available in 11 different sizes, from 34 – 54! The Carvi pattern is 20% off this week! The offer ends on Friday, December 18, 2020 at midnight (CET).

Pattern details

Carvi is a feminine sweater with dropped shoulders and voluminous, gathered sleeves. Version A comes with a square neckline and stylish puff sleeves in 7/8 length; Version B has an elegant round neckline and wide balloon sleeves with long cuffs.

Sewing Level

The Carvi Sweater is suitable for sewing beginners with some sewing experience. The detailed sewing instructions take you by the hand and explain every single step on the way to your Carvi Sweater in detailed words and with the help of many illustrations.

How to pick a size

Choose your size according to your upper bust measurement. If your measurements are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

Fabric & Notions

Carvi is designed for lfor a light to medium weight stretch knit fabric with some body like French Terry, Sweater Knit and Ponte di Roma. As further supplies you will need sewing thread in matching colors, Stretch needles, 12″ (30 cm) fusible interfacing and possibly seam tape for the shoulder seams.

Mix it

Carvi comes with two versions. But the two versions can be mixed wonderfully, so you can make four different sweaters from one pattern. Here I have combined the neckline of version A with the sleeves of version B.
