Is there anything more comfortable than snuggling up in a knit dress in cool autumn weather? ? Hardly! And that’s why I love my Southbank Dress so much. Especially since it comes in its dark blue color with noble Flur Cuffs provided not only cosy casual but also chic.

Since the ladies of Hello Heidi Fabrics are clever & smart, their fabric collection not only includes unique cuffs, but also perfectly matching knit fabric. Hands up for those who know the desperate search for matching combination fabrics?

Of course I couldn’t let it go and had to hack my Southbank Dress a little bit. Since I am still at war with turtlenecks, I omitted this element and gave the dress a noble V-neck instead.

What I missed to change, though, is the height of the pockets. They are set really low and I have trouble reaching them even with my overlong arms. Next time I would put them a few centimeters higher.

But such a detail does not harm my Southbank Dress love. Rather, my second dress is already in planning.

Happy Sewing
